It takes more than kindness to provide high-level support to our nomads when they travel – it takes a worldwide team. In the interest of transparency, here’s how our team works together to offer you the best possible support on the road.
In a nutshell, World Nomads sells travel insurance* plans and helps you figure out which plan is right for you. In the event that you need to make a claim or need emergency assistance when you’re away from home, we work with Trip Mate. Trip Mate is a Generali Global Assistance & Insurance Services Brand and has been a worldwide leader for more than 50 years. Importantly, our partnership with Trip Mate allows us to offer you 24/7 Emergency Assistance.
US Fire is the insurance provider (otherwise known as the underwriter) that provides the actual travel insurance product sold by World Nomads. US Fire is part of Crum & Forster Holding, which provides a broad range of insurance solution to industries ranging from travel and hospitality to property and health. Crum & Forster has been in business for more than 200 years.
We all work together to support our nomads as they travel the world, providing a safety net should things not go quite to plan.
If you have a question about your plan, need to find out more about making a claim, or need emergency assistance, this guide will tell you who you need to call. We’re just a phone call away and happy to help in any way we can. Happy travels!
