Accidents have a way of catching you off guard. You could be skiing in the Alps when you fracture your wrist or hiking on a remote trail when you sprain your ankle. Rather than going into panic mode or descending into downright despair, it’s a good time to turn to your travel insurance. Your World Nomads plan can provide coverage if you have an accident during your travels, including medical treatment, hospital stays, ambulance rides, and more.

What is covered if I have a travel accident?

When you get injured while traveling, World Nomads may be able to cover you under different benefits in your plan.

  • Hospital stays.
  • Out-patient surgery and treatment.
  • Visits to medical practitioners.
  • Prescription medications, as ordered by a physician as medically necessary for treatment.
  • Medical evacuation, including air ambulance.

Accidents tend to happen abruptly without warning, so keep our contact numbers handy. If the worst happens, you can get assistance quickly. The 24/7 Emergency Assistance Team can help you out with a range of things, including:
