The World Nomads website is temporarily unavailable while we complete system changes as part of the global sale of World Nomads to its new owner, IMG. IMG is working hard behind the scenes to reflect the change in ownership and ensure a smooth transition. Our technical teams are implementing these changes to ensure a seamless customer experience and expect the website to be available again within approximately 2 hours.
Thank you for your patience while we complete this work.
Rest assured, your insurance benefits, coverage, and plan terms will not change as a result of this transaction. Your existing claims, customer service inquiries, and plan servicing will continue without interruption.
If you require urgent assistance while our website is unavailable, our Emergency Assistance team is available 24/7. For all other enquiries, please contact our Customer Service team in your location here.
For information relating to policies purchased prior to October 23 2024, please check the Policy Wording provided with your purchase. You can contact us if you need this sent to you again. For plans purchased after October 23 2024, please see below.
As part of your travel insurance* plan, you have access to the 24/7 emergency assistance team, otherwise known as Generali Global Assistance. Generali has a local presence in 200 countries and territories worldwide, with multilingual staff. If you need translation help in just about any country, Generali Global Assistance can assist.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call the local emergency authorities first to receive immediate assistance, and then contact Generali Global Assistance. Sometimes it will be helpful to have the Emergency Team speak directly with the doctors or police in their own language, and then translate the information back to you.
Our customer services team and the claims team communicate in English – you can find their contact details here.
