Maybe you’ve decided not to travel after all, or your plans changed right after you bought the policy. All our policies are subject to a period within which you may be able to cancel your policy without any penalty.
The cooling off period is the period of time following the purchase of one of our travel insurance policies during which you can cancel the policy and receive a refund.
The cooling off period depends on your Country of Residence, so be sure to check your Policy Wording for details on what this period is. Outside of this period, if you want to cancel your policy, you can contact us.

If you are eligible to cancel your policy during the cooling off period, you can cancel it by:
Contact us to cancel your policy outside of the cooling off period. Be aware that if you cancel cover outside of the cooling off period, no refund is provided. Check your Policy Wording for more information.
With World Nomads you can get an instant quote anytime, anywhere, before you leave home or while you’re on the road.
If you’re not sure what you want to do, as time is of the essence, please contact us and we can help further explain the options available to you.

Travel insurance doesn’t cover everything. All of the information we provide is a brief summary. It does not include all terms, conditions, limitations, exclusions and termination provisions of the plans described. Coverage may not be the same or available for residents of all countries, states or provinces. Please carefully read your policy wording for a full description of coverage. If you have any questions, please contact us.
