What is a ‘known event’?

If you have purchased a policy prior to the cut off date listed in any of our travel alerts, you may be eligible for benefits related to that event.

However, if you purchased your travel insurance on or after the date of the known event, you would not be eligible for cover.

Emergency Assistance

If you are currently experiencing an emergency while travelling, contact the 24/7 Emergency Assistance Team at your earliest opportunity. Depending upon your individual situation and your level of cover, the team may be able to help arrange evacuations, offer translation assistance or get you to a suitable medical facility.

Read your policy wording carefully

We hope you never experience a natural disaster, airline strike, terror attack or any other event that could disrupt your travel plans. However, if you do, your travel insurance may be able to help.

Read your policy documents carefully – they can be found in your member account or the email you received after purchasing with us.
