The World Nomads website is temporarily unavailable while we complete system changes as part of the global sale of World Nomads to its new owner, IMG. IMG is working hard behind the scenes to reflect the change in ownership and ensure a smooth transition. Our technical teams are implementing these changes to ensure a seamless customer experience and expect the website to be available again within approximately 2 hours.
Thank you for your patience while we complete this work.
Rest assured, your insurance benefits, coverage, and plan terms will not change as a result of this transaction. Your existing claims, customer service inquiries, and plan servicing will continue without interruption.
If you require urgent assistance while our website is unavailable, our Emergency Assistance team is available 24/7. For all other enquiries, please contact our Customer Service team in your location here.
The US government has issued a ‘Do Not Travel’ alert for areas within 50 kilometers of the Thailand-Cambodia land border in the provinces of Sa Kaeo, Buriram, Si Saket, Surin, Ubon Ratchathani, Chanthaburi and mainland Trat due to ongoing armed clashes between Thai and Cambodian forces, which has included military strikes, violence and the presence of landmines. The incident started in the summer of 2025.

Our plans may not provide coverage for any losses which arise from:
- Hostilities or any act of war; and/or
- Travelling to, planning to travel to, or choosing to remain in a country or region that is the subject of a “Do not travel” warning issued by the US government.
Other exclusions may also apply to your plan. Please refer to your Plan Document to understand all terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions that apply to your plan.
If your travel plans are affected, we recommend:
- We understand this can be a stressful situation for travellers but it’s important to listen to local news reports and the advice of local authorities if you are already in this area.
- Before planning travel, we recommend you check the government advice applicable to your policy and monitor media coverage for the destinations you intend to travel to.
- If you’ve not left but already booked your travel and need to change your travel arrangements, please contact your airline, cruise company or travel agent for assistance in the first instance.
