Yes, are you are covered by your travel insurance plan if there is a travel warning in the place you are going. The only time you would not be eligible for coverage is if you went to a country sanctioned by the US government and we were forbidden from helping you there. If the travel warning was due to civil unrest (for political or security reasons), we may be able to help you evacuate the region. Same with a natural disaster. However, in both cases, the event would have had to happen unexpectedly. It would have had to occur after you purchased your travel insurance policy, but before you left on your trip.
