We know that travelling with one or more children these days can be tough going, especially on long haul trips, (20 hour flight from Rome to Sydney anyone?)

You can cover a family, being one or two adults who are 69 years of age or under and up to 6 of their financially dependent children or grandchildren under age 18. All ages are calculated from the policy issue date (and policy extension date, when applicable).

One of the travelling adults must be the legal guardian of the dependent(s) and they must normally reside together. All dependents must be in full time education, 18 years old or younger and be travelling together with the adult/s.

All people to be insured on a policy must be citizens or legal residents of the 'Country of Residence' (defined in the policy wording) that you select when you apply for insurance. Details of all people to be insured must be listed on the policy for coverage to apply.

There is a maximum of 2 adults and 6 dependents that can be insured per policy. To insure more than 2 adults or more than 6 dependents, additional policies must be purchased.

This is only a summary of cover and does not include the full terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions of the policy. You should read your policy wording in full, so you understand what is and isn’t covered. If you are unsure about your level of travel cover, please contact us for help.

Who is covered by my travel insurance policy?
