If you’re still within the Right-to-Examine period of your policy, you can cancel your policy via your member account, if you’ve set one up. If you are not satisfied with your policy, you may cancel it within 10 days after the policy has been issued. Please refer to your policy for more details on the 10-Day Right-to-Examine period.

In order to get a refund on your premium, you must not have used your policy in any way. This means:

  • You must not have left home or started your trip (If you purchased your policy the day of your departure, we consider that as starting your trip.)
  • You must not have made a claim or intend to make a claim.
  • You must not have exercised any other rights under the policy, such as using the travel assistance services.

If you purchased as a guest and don’t have a member account, you can create one here. You’ll need to input your email address and the policy number from your last purchase.

If you need to make changes, to your policy, including extensions, please read our article on amendments.

This is only a summary of coverage and does not include the full terms and conditions of the policy. It is important you read and understand your policy as it contains benefits, conditions, exclusions and pre-existing condition exclusions. If you do not understand your coverage, or if you have questions about your coverage, just ask us.
