The World Nomads international travel insurance business is being sold to the International Medical Group, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SiriusPoint Ltd, provided certain conditions are satisfied. World Nomads is becoming part of International Medical Group (IMG), a global travel insurance and assistance provider.
This change is part of a global agreement for IMG to acquire the World Nomads travel insurance business from nib Travel. As part of this process, World Nomads will transition to IMG, subject to the required approvals and completion conditions.
We currently expect the transaction to complete between 31 August 2026 and 1 December 2026.
