The World Nomads website is temporarily unavailable while we complete system changes as part of the global sale of World Nomads to its new owner, IMG. IMG is working hard behind the scenes to reflect the change in ownership and ensure a smooth transition. Our technical teams are implementing these changes to ensure a seamless customer experience and expect the website to be available again within approximately 2 hours.
Thank you for your patience while we complete this work.
Rest assured, your insurance benefits, coverage, and plan terms will not change as a result of this transaction. Your existing claims, customer service inquiries, and plan servicing will continue without interruption.
If you require urgent assistance while our website is unavailable, our Emergency Assistance team is available 24/7. For all other enquiries, please contact our Customer Service team in your location here.
We'll cover all countries on your 'must visit' list except those that have a specific ‘against all’ or ‘against all but essential travel’ warning against them by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), unless you have contacted us and we have confirmed in writing that you will be covered.
Where the FCDO advise only essential travel and you decide to travel on a non-essential trip to the affect country/region, cover in the event of a claim will only apply once the cause is not linked to the reason for advice.
Government warnings can be issued or changed without notice at any time, so always check the status with the UK Government travel advisory before you buy a policy and before you pay anything towards your trip.
Government sanctions may also restrict us from paying claims, so we’re unable to offer cover to travel sanctioned regions or countries. Sanctions and government warnings change, so we'll tell you when you get a quote if we can’t cover you to travel to a specific country or region.
When you get a Single Trip quote, you can add individual countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Laos) or regions (Asia, Europe, Worldwide) or a mix of both (Thailand, Vietnam, Asia). The more detail you give us on where you're going, the more helpful we can be.
For Annual Multi-Trip you will only be able to choose from three specific regions:
