How we helped when this nomad needed serious dental assistance in South Africa
I was walking on the side of the road in Cape Town, South Africa and I tripped and lost my footing and landed on my face. I immediately went to the Emergency Room and saw a doctor. However, a week after the incident, my face was still incredibly swollen and painful so I went to a different doctor while in Namibia who referred me to a radiologist and a dentist. The trauma in my face from the fall has caused nerve damage which has resulted in the death of 2 of my teeth. The doctor in Namibia had to perform an emergency root canal to prevent infection and further damage and pain and my dentist in the UK finished the root canal but advised that the solution may only be temporary.
They paid for all of my doctors consultations and dental expenses in Africa.
Paid AUD $1238.71
