Where a traveller has not lived in the Republic of Ireland in the 12 months prior to purchasing travel insurance, they are not eligible, unfortunately.
While it is not necessary to have lived at this address for the entire 12 months prior to purchase, a traveller must have resided there at some point in the 12 months.
However, our travel insurance is available to Irish residents already travelling outside of Ireland where the eligibility criteria are met. Our flexible travel insurance can be purchased online in minutes, using your debit/credit card. However waiting periods may apply, so please check the policy wording before purchasing.
