How do I get rid of spam in my blog?

We encourage our Nomads journal writers to take responsibility for their words and be open to the interactive nature that the web allows. If someone disagrees with what you say, feel free to defend your turf politely and write your own comments. However if the debate is getting nasty - or the comments are full of spam - you can get rid of them.

Login to the Journal tools
Go to the Comments admin and find the offending comment
You can either delete it entirely by ticking the checkbox and hitting the delete button
or...
You can edit the comment and turn it to a not-visible status (so you've got a copy, but it doesn't show up on your journal), or you can edit the text to take out the offending bits.
