I am from a small town in northeast Brazil, moved to Sao Paulo when I was 10, and then to Berkeley, California at 23 to be an au pair. I have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2011. I speak English, Portuguese, and some Portuñol.
I joined World Nomads in 2018, where I plan and execute the paid advertising strategy for Brazil. I love working here because we really care about travelers. I also like the team a lot, we have so many different life stories and backgrounds, which makes it very exciting.
I travel for cultural enrichment and to relax. I love to meet new people, live new experiences, and eat local food. However, one of my most memorable travel experiences was when I went back to visit my hometown in Brazil after 21 years. Seeing the streets where I played when I was a kid and hanging out with my friends after so many years was special.
