Meet Chris Noble
General Manager of World Nomads
A kiwi by birth, my parents moved me to Australia as soon as they realized I would never become an All Black. I am based in Sydney but call the beachside hamlet of Cunjarong Point home. I grew up on a farm and went to school in Melbourne before jumping from place to place for work and study. This included a two-year stint in Singapore, however I still have dreams of becoming a Vegas dancer.
I've been with World Nomads for over 15 years and feel blessed by that. I'm responsible for developing and driving the purpose and vision of the business. Central to that is building a team of awesome, talented, brave, caring, insanely tolerant (of me), life-lived-well obsessed individuals who create products, services and opportunities for you, World Nomads. I love building a company and community of like-minded souls and giving them the opportunities to develop as professionals and heart-led people. I love the team and they inspire and support me, so that's made my work my passion.
To me, travel was always about the next adventure, the next 'thing' to see and do, but it has changed. What's become memorable is and always will be the shared experiences travel affords me. The friendships I've made and the stories I've heard, have shaped me as the lunatic I am today.
