Sarah is a British travel journalist who fled the drizzle 11 years ago. She has now lived in eight countries on four continents. As one of only a few foreign travel writers to have lived in the remote Maldives islands for several years, she gained deep insights into the unique country, and frequently returns. She strives to embed herself in the local culture wherever she goes, learning from locals about their passions and favorite haunts.
