Liz Durnan is a freelance writer with an interest in sustainability, travel, food and books. Originally from Liverpool, UK, she has lived in cities all over the world, including London, New York and Sydney. She’s now based in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, where she has built a straw-bale, solar-passive home. She loves overnight bushwalks and camping, with occasional visits further afield. Favourite destinations are Vietnam, Morocco and Spain, mainly for the food.
