Meet Danielle Ureta-Spontak
Travel Writer
Danielle is an avid writer in all mediums but her favorite is screenwriting. She earned a BA in English at the University of San Diego (USA) and proceeded to get an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Kent (UK). Danielle grew up in a traveling family so wanderlust runs in her veins; she likes to imbue her words with what she’s learned from every corner of the globe. Danielle has been published in multiple literary magazines, has won screenwriting contests including Sundance, and hosts weekly writers workshops to help others hone their craft with constructive feedback. With two short films under her belt through her studio, Spontak Entertainment, she continues to produce more alongside her performance art shows. In South Korea, Danielle taught English for two years and wrote over 40 children’s beginner reader books for her lovely students. When she’s not writing, you can find Danielle somewhere in the world playing piano, practicing yoga and MMA, or diving with the fishies.
