The World Nomads website is temporarily unavailable while we complete system changes as part of the global sale of World Nomads to its new owner, IMG. IMG is working hard behind the scenes to reflect the change in ownership and ensure a smooth transition. Our technical teams are implementing these changes to ensure a seamless customer experience and expect the website to be available again within approximately 2 hours.
Thank you for your patience while we complete this work.
Rest assured, your insurance benefits, coverage, and plan terms will not change as a result of this transaction. Your existing claims, customer service inquiries, and plan servicing will continue without interruption.
If you require urgent assistance while our website is unavailable, our Emergency Assistance team is available 24/7. For all other enquiries, please contact our Customer Service team in your location here.
Meet Augusto Gomes
Writer and Photographer
Augusto is a Brazilian biologist, nature photographer and environmental storyteller. Since he was a young boy, he’s always been amazed by the grandeur of landscapes, the diversity of life, and the mysteries of our universe. Visiting the remaining wilderness on Earth and fighting for its conservation has become a life purpose. This choice has led him to several amazing places around the world, but it has also shown him our massive impacts on the environment – our only home.
Nowadays Augusto is interested in using photography and video to delight people about our world’s wonders and raise engagement to environmental issues. He’s a regular contributor to National Geographic and several NGOs, as well as websites and blogs devoted to nature, adventure and conservation, for whom he photographs and writes.
Follow his adventures and see his photos on Instagram.
