How to stay safe & healthy in Nauru → Read this!

Nauru is the world's smallest independent republic. It takes less than an hour to drive round the island.

It has no tourist industry to speak of - most visitors these days are politicians, aid workers or diplomats.

The island is dependent on phosphate mining, although reserves will be exhausted by 2050.

90% of the population is unemployed, and yet crime is almost non-existent.
