On the next page, depending on your nationality and your mode of transportation, you will find out the documents you need. Many foreign nationals flying into Canada now need to apply online for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). You can apply with a valid passport, a credit or a debit card, and an email address.

Working visas

Border crossings

You don’t need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to cross the border into Canada from the U.S. if you are driving. You will need a passport, and a visa depending on your nationality.
