Coronavirus (COVID-19) travel restrictions in Panama – updated 4 November, 2020

  • Tocumen International Airport reopened to commercial flights on 12 October
  • Foreign travelers, residents and Panamanians must obtain a negative PCR COVID-19 test result within 48 hours of boarding their entry flight to Panama
  • Passengers who do not have a negative test result valid within the required time frame must undergo a rapid test at their own cost
  • At the airport, you will be asked to sign a health declaration
  • Curfews are in place, and hours differ depending on where you are. For the latest information, see the Panama government's COVID-19 website
  • Wearing a mask is mandatory nationwide.
