With the 25th march 2017 ban on carrying laptops and small electronics approaching, CNN investigated what it would cost travelers.
The leading news site looked at which airlines would be affecteed, what options travelers have to cancel or change airline.
They also looked at insurance coverage if small electronics were lost after being put into checked luggage.
"World Nomads does a little better, with a maximum $1,500 claim for an item damaged or stolen from baggage." said CNN.
