Travel photo and film scholarship winners to embark on epic Norwegian adventure to bring responsible travel and destinations to life through creative writing and photography.

Media Release: Sydney – World Nomads, a fast-growing, global travel insurance provider that provides safety and responsible travel advice and inspiration to help adventurers travel better, is excited to announce the winners of their latest travel scholarship.
Winners include a diverse set of content creators from Chile, Mexico and the UK, who will travel on a Hurtigruten Norwegian Coastal Express voyage in October, creating content to real briefs provided by World Nomads and campaign partners. Briefs will include showcasing the wonders of the natural world and the importance of traveling responsibly and sustainably.
Emilia Miranda from Chile, Leslie Latchman from the UK and Amanda Garcia from Mexico will join Hurtigruten’s 9-day North Cape Express – Half Voyage from Bergen to Tromsø. During their assignment trip, participants will receive personalized 1:1 mentoring from award-winning travel creatives, Dan and Zora Avila of Travel Shooters.

The three scholarship winners’ prizes are valued at more than US$15,000. The prize package includes round-trip airfare from the winner's nearest international airport to Norway and $150 toward travel insurance, courtesy of World Nomads. Winners will also receive a state-of-the-art Fujifilm XT-5 Camera with a FUJINON XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS lens, Think Tank camera bags, 500kg Carbon Removal Package ($500 value) to offset travel emissions from Tomorrow’s Air, and $500 USD spending money thanks to Adventure.Travel.
