That, of course, depends on when you travel. Find out the best time to visit Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.

Cambodia and Laos seasons

Vietnam seasons

Things to do year-round

Cambodia and Laos seasons

Cambodia and Laos have two seasons. From November through April, you can expect sunny, dry weather – especially in January and February. Monsoonal torrents begin when the winds shift from May to November, and the southwest monsoon rolls in. The wettest month is usually September, at the height of the monsoon. April, May and October are good months for trekking around Luang Nam Tha (Laos).

Travelers can still visit during monsoon season, but some activities may be more difficult during this time (e.g. jungle trekking or kayaking), and, due to the flooding of roads, transportation can be difficult.

Vietnam seasons

The south of Vietnam has similar seasons to Laos and Cambodia, with a cooler season between November and April, and a hot season from May to October.

The mountainous areas of northern Vietnam have four distinct seasons: winter in the northern town of Sapa can be quite cold and wet. Trekking in northern Vietnam is better during spring and fall. April, May and October are good months for trekking around Sapa as the weather is most consistently fair. Views of Sapa’s rice terraces will be best in October after the wet season, while in the spring trekkers will encounter the best weather and a blossoming paradise of flowers – as Sapa is known.

Rain pours down in the town of Sapa, northern Vietnam.
Festivals in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos

The high season for travel in southeast Asia is from November until March, with dry, predictable weather throughout, but travel can be great year-round if you know what to expect. Here is a snapshot of what is going on throughout the year.

January or February (depending on the year)

Tet, the lunar new year in Vietnam, is celebrated during the first day of the first month in Lunar Calendar and lasts a week. During this season, many shops are closed, as people visit family and friends to exchange gifts and enjoy generous meals. Travelers should be aware that transportation may be an issue. If you do travel during Tet, you will encounter fireworks, elaborate flower displays, parades, and specialty foods made only during Tet.

February

Perfume Pagoda Festival in Chua Huong, near Hanoi. Buddhist pilgrims flock to the pagoda to pray for happiness and prosperity, and to celebrate the full moon.

March

The Boun Khoun Khao in Laos, also known as the Rice Festival, is held to express appreciation for an abundant harvest season, and is celebrated with large servings of local dishes and rice wine, as well as singing, dancing, and traditional music. Festivities happen at pagodas throughout Laos at various times in February and March.

April

Khmer New Year (Cambodia) and Boun Pi Mai (Laos new year) are celebrated with parades, dancing, singing and water throwing. They are great fun, and not to be missed.

Water fight on the streets of Cambodia. Photo credit: Kelly Beckta

May

Boun Bang Fai Rocket Festival in Laos – bamboo rockets anyone? The rockets are designed to carry prayers directly to the god of rain to ask for a harvest season free from drought, floods, or pests. Communities compete for the best-decorated rocket, and the highest shot.

April–May and October

The Hue Festival is held in the city of Hue (central Vietnam) between April and June, once every two years (2020 is next). Travelers can see boat races, street performances, and live theatrical re-enactments of royal ceremonies, and plays which tell tales of Vietnam’s history. During this time, the city is alive with art, music and amazing food.

August

Trung Nguyen is the day of wandering souls, the second-largest festival in Vietnam, after Tet, when the living and the dead meet. Food and fire are a big part of the festivities.

August–October

Boun Souang Heua is the boat racing festival near Luang Prabang. Similar festivals occur throughout Laos (including Khammouane) over roughly a six-week period, before the end of Buddhist lent, from the end of August until October.

September–October

Pchum Ben is a Cambodian festival to honor the spirits of ancestors, who are believed to return to earth at this time. It is one of the most colorful and photogenic times of the year in Cambodia.

October–November

Bon Om Touk is a Cambodian water festival, held in Phnom Penh, which marks a reversal of the flow between the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers. Travelers can watch dragon boat races and see fireworks.

December

This is one of the best months to visit southern Vietnam or Cambodia for beach travel to destinations such as Sihanoukville in Cambodia, or Vietnam’s Con Dao islands.

Cambodia’s Sea Festival is celebrated in December, when music, acrobatics, fireworks and food markets will pop up around Sihanoukville.

<imageAttribution>Brian Rapsey	</imageAttribution><haveImageSyndicationRights>0</haveImageSyndicationRights><imageLicsensorId>	</imageLicsensorId><imageLicensorName>	</imageLicensorName><imageCaption></imageCaption>

Soba Didi Lost Everything | Nepal Travel Story

Soba Didi Lost Everything | Nepal Travel Story

The Mt. Find out how much it’ll cost, and how difficult each trail is before you book.

https://www.worldnomads.com

A journey into the ancient Nabataean city of Petra in Jordan is every traveler's dream. While it’s possible to go the “easy way” through the front gate, there's another, more ancient option for hikers and trekkers to enter: via the remote desert canyons of the Dana Nature Reserve.

About Petra

The trekking routes

When to go and what to bring

Gate fees

Getting to Wadi Musa

About Petra

Petra was unknown to the western world until Swiss explorer Johann Burckhardt was guided into the “Rose City” by Bedouins in 1812. You can only imagine his astonishment as he emerged from desert canyons into the city. His first sight: the elaborate and towering treasury, one of Petra’s most striking structures.

Today, nearly half a million tourists visit Petra every year via the standard method: the front gate. For those who want a deeper experience – a memory to cherish for a lifetime – there are more adventurous ways to enter the city.

Deep in the canyons of Wadi es Siyyagh, near Petra. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Petra trekking routes

Multi-day trek through Dana Nature Reserve

The biggest and most dramatic trek into Petra takes a 5-7-day itinerary from the north via the Dana Nature Reserve, on ancient pathways, and through remote canyons and valleys.

Tour providers like Experience Jordan or KE adventures offer all-inclusive trips starting around US $1,600. Expect to cover around 11mi/day (18km/day) on rugged trails, for a total over 49mi (80km). Two or three-day variations are possible if jeeps are used.

The Wadi Al Ghuweir canyon is a lush, jaw dropping part of this trail, which can also be trekked alone as a day tour ending at the Feynan camp.

Emerging from Wadi es Siyyagh, near Petra. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Wadi al Mudhlim: The easy alternative

Wadi al Mudhlim is an easy alternative to the classic Siq entrance, following a narrow, 2.5mi (4km) canyon. The trail starts just before the entrance to the Siq. This route can be dangerous if heavy rains are prevalent.

Wadi es Siyyagh: A demanding one-day, 20km trek

Another option exists to trek for one day, roughly 12.5mi (20km), into Petra through an approach from the west, starting at Wadi Arava and walking through Wadi es Siyyagh.

This trek is extremely demanding, and requires talent at complex wilderness route finding, up to grade 3 or 4 rock climbing, and high levels of fitness. It is recommended to seek out a guide. Nonetheless, it is a fantastic adventure, remote and thrilling.

When to go and what to bring

The spring (March–May) and fall (October–November) are best seasons for trekking.

Apart from normal travel items, a GPS, water filtration system, good hiking shoes, long hiking pants, a long-sleeve shirt, high-SPF sun cream, a sun hat, and a basic first-aid kit are essential items to pack.

Wading through rivers in Jordan – be prepared to get wet. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Gate fees

While it’s possible to avoid paying gate fees by trekking via alternative routes, this is highly discouraged. It’s best to arrange the 50 dinar (US $70/day) gate fees in advance – Visit Petra has info on gate prices.

The beginning of the Wadi es Siyyagh trek. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Getting to Wadi Musa

Wadi Musa is the main staging city near Petra. A taxi or private car is the best and most comfortable way to get there, which will cost around 106 dinar (US $150) one way from Amman, while a bus will run around 20 dinar (US $28) for a return trip. Jett is one company which offers services.

<imageAttribution>Jase Wilson	</imageAttribution><haveImageSyndicationRights>0</haveImageSyndicationRights><imageLicsensorId>	</imageLicsensorId><imageLicensorName>	</imageLicensorName><imageCaption></imageCaption>

With dramatic craggy peaks in the Julian Alps, stunning colors of the Soča River Valley, and old town charm of central Ljubljana, here are a few tips for first-timers planning a trip to Slovenia!

https://www.worldnomads.com

Getting There

What Season Should You Go to Slovenia?

What are the Top Things to Do in Ljubljana?

Skiing in Slovenia

Hiking in the Julian Alps

Must See Places and Top Experiences

Rent a Car

Getting There

Getting to Ljubljana is simple if you fly to the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. However, it's often cheaper to fly to Venice or Trieste and take a Flix Bus (or other) to Ljubljana. Busses cost around €20, one way.

What Season Should You Go to Slovenia?

Summer and winter are the big seasons in Slovenia for tourism. However, the weather in late spring and early fall is still very warm.

Depending on what you want to do (hiking for example) consider that snow stays in the higher Julian alps (above 1500m) until late May/early June, or even July sometimes.

What are the Top Things to Do in Ljubljana?

In the summer, there are many free festivals and events happening in the city, generally around Tivoli Park, Park Zvezda, or in the Presernov Square.

Katredala Ljubljana (Ljubljana Cathedral) Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Prices for restaurants and attractions are quite reasonable. You'll find plenty of options in the €5-20 range. Vegan, Thai, vegetarian, Balkan, Indian, Chinese, Italian, Mediterranean... it’s all there! Go to Visit Ljubljana to find out more about the city.

Taxis, or the city's bike share program, are the best ways to get around. Go here for more information.

Here are some other things do in Ljubljana:

Take a boat cruise on the Ljuljanica River.

Wander through Tivoli Park and the National Museum of Contemporary History.

Metelkova—a grunge/punk-rock inspired, autonomous part of the city, a good place for parties.

Take a €12 guided tour around Ljubljanski Grad (city castle)—€7,50 non-guided.

Walking tours.

Sample some of the many amazing places to eat, try some Cacao ice cream!

Visit one of the many museums.

Hit up Jazz nights at Zoo (Monday)

Skiing in Slovenia

Slovenia is home to many quality ski resorts: Kranska Gora, Krvavec, Vogel, and Kanin are some of the highlights.

Prices for lift passes vary, however they are almost all under €35 for day passes.

It's possible to connect to the resorts via ski shuttles, which depart from the main train station near the city center.

Hiking in the Julian Alps

The Julian Alps are often referred to as "the biggest little mountains in the world".

In the summer months, you can hike to the summit of Mt. Triglav, Slovenia’s highest mountain. There are plenty of other itineraries for early season, such as Golica and Krn. You’ll need a car for this.

Must See Places and Top Experiences

Lake Bled & Bohinj—1 hour from Ljubljana, busses and trains will take you there from the city.

Savica Falls—close to Bohinj.

Raft the Soča River—rafting outfitters can be found in Bovec.

The massive Postojna Caves—information about how to get there can be found here.

Check out the stunning coastal town of Piran!

Stunning colors of the Soca River near Bovec. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Rent a Car

In my opinion, this is the best way to get around Slovenia; it’s affordable, flexible, and fast.

At Avant Car, you can rent a car for the weekend (3 days) WITH excess insurance coverages for only €55.

For an example itinerary, you can make a complete circular tour of the Julian Alps by driving from Ljubljana towards Kranska Gora, then to Bovec, Tolmin, and eventually back to Ljubljana.

Points of interest along the route:

The Tolmin Gorge

Most na Soci

Populated by stunning Hindu, Buddhist, and Newari temples, there's so much to see and do it can be hard to decide if you only have a short amount of time before you venture off into the mountains.

Swayambhunath

Boudhanath

Thamel

Pashupatinath

Durbar Square

Other fun things to experience in Kathmandu

Swayambhunath

Swayambhunath – or the Monkey Temple as it’s commonly referred to – is an incredible place to soak up views of the Himalayas and the stretching sea of colorful houses that make you feel like you’re in another world.

The traditional Buddhist Stupa is second in importance only to Boudhanath in Nepal. It’s definitely worth the long walk up the stone-cut staircase. Just watch out for your belongings – monkeys roam the steps, and can get quite aggressive.

Swayambhunath. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Boudhanath

Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest spherical stupas in all of Nepal, and is a very important Buddhist site in Kathmandu.

The entire structure has been designed in the shape of a mandala, which represents a microcosm of the universe.

When you're there, walk clockwise – or sunwise as it was originally referred to – around the Stupa. Spin the prayer wheels as you go, but only in the clockwise direction, as it is offensive to do the opposite.

Purifying bathe in smoke. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Thamel

Thamel is the central tourist district in Kathmandu. Here you’ll literally find everything you need for your Nepalese adventure.

If the shopping doesn’t interest you, check out the impressive variety of restaurants.

My personal favorites are the vegetarian-friendly vedors. After a long trek, the chocolate soufflé will blow your mind!

Also, don’t be shy – try some Nepali dishes at one of the many traditional restaurants. Coffee lovers can find incredible coffee and cakes at Himalayan Java.

Inside Thamel, you can find ample amounts of live music, food, clothing, and trekking supplies, all within walking distance.

Pashupatinath

Pashupatinath is one of the most important places in Kathmandu for Hindu people, where many of the city’s Hindus are cremated. Of course, it’s important to practice the utmost sensitivity when witnessing the cremations.

For those who visit, you’ll find a surprisingly serene and thoughtful atmosphere, populated mostly by men clad entirely in white, with shaved heads, save for a small tuff at the back.

These mourners will spend up to two weeks and sometimes more in the temple to grieve for their loved ones.

Cremation area at Pashupatinath. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Durbar Square

This is one of the best places to see ancient Newari carvings, which are both beautiful and incredibly intricate. It’s a UNESCO heritage site, along with other Newari sites such as Patan and Bhaktapur.

Other fun things to eperience in Kathmandu

Get a haircut! Seriously, it’s quite the experience and it usually comes with a bonus shoulder massage.

Visit Jazz Upstairs on Wednesday nights for a good time.

Go climbing at Astrek Climbing wall in Thamel.

Take a language class — Nepali is surprisingly easy to learn the basics.

This is the first time I’ve talked about it.

“Kathmandu is one of the most earthquake-vulnerable cities in the world” he says.

“I mean, it could be worse than Haiti. I am telling you this now because I need to inform you in case something like this happens while you are posted here.”

It’s 6 am and I haven’t slept much. Rajendra’s words kept repeating through my head. Worse than Haiti.

It was the morning after the earthquake. In the mountains, without connection to the outside world, we could only guess how bad it was.

Patan, around one week after the earthquake. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

I was posted in Nepal for six months with a Canadian NGO.

Every day in Kathmandu, I could feel the mountains calling to me. On the clearest days, you can see them up there, glowing like big, pink satellite dishes, collecting the last of the evening light.

After work, I would bike through the thick and chaotic traffic to the climbing gym in Thamel, dodging heavy black plumes of diesel smoke, and scooters loaded with entire families.

It was here that I met my climbing partner, Nia, a Welsh veterinarian who was taking a year to travel.

Together we arranged permits to trek to Everest Base Camp, and then to attempt Lobuche, a 6000m peak.

Life has a funny way of destroying perfectly laid plans.

Trekking on the way to Dingboche. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

After the quake, Nia and I left Gorakshep to make space for those whom were injured at base camp.

I pondered my own selfishness at feeling disappointed that Lobuche had been taken away.

Deep pangs of guilt for being Western, selfish, and privileged, surged through every confused limb.

The clouds were thick that day, but in some act of God, there was just enough space – maybe 150 metres of visibility – for helicopters to fly beneath the impenetrable wall above.

Loud, booming shots rang off above us as the blades cut through the humidity.

I remember feeling overwhelmed by their bravery, as they fearlessly raced against the coming night.

A magical break in the clouds allows choppers to fly in and out of EBC to the high altitude hospital in Pheriche. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

Back in Kathmandu, things had almost returned back to normal.

The mind, when it has reached its maximum, tends to block out stressful abnormalities with routines and other distractions.

Footpaths had been mindlessly cleared through the rubble, traffic patiently veered around the fallen objects.

But there is always some reminder: broken shards of glass from fallen picture frames, or the goodbyes many were never able to say.

Police work around the wreckage. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

We travel because we seek the exotic, we seek truer versions of ourselves, to discover the world we live in.

We attempt to connect on a deeper level with what it means to be human, through exploring the places and minds of other people.

When we do so, we leave an indelible mark upon ourselves, one that is incredibly difficult to understand.

Boarding the plane to depart for home, it dawns on me that I am not the only one – that there are many who find their lives helplessly entangled with this place, lulled in by the bright and hopeful optimism of a people who have defined what it is to endure.

<imageAttribution>Jase Wilson	</imageAttribution><haveImageSyndicationRights>0</haveImageSyndicationRights><imageLicsensorId>	</imageLicsensorId><imageLicensorName>	</imageLicensorName><imageCaption></imageCaption>

Bike, hike, or trek, escape Kathmandu’s busy city walls and catch a glimpse of the Himalayas’ dramatic views with these unforgettable day trips from Kathmandu.

https://www.worldnomads.com

Bhaktapur

Patan

Mountain biking around Kathmandu

Hiking Shivapuri National Park

Rock climbing around Hattiban

Yoga or meditation at Last Resort, Hattiban Resort, Neydo Monastery

Trekking in Langtang National Park

Bhaktapur

In the past, Bhaktapur was a cultural, political, and economic powerhouse in the Newari kingdom which ruled over Kathmandu Valley.

Bhaktapur is said to have the most temples per square kilometer in all of Nepal, and is an excellent place to shop for traditional handmade art and souvenirs.

It is a must-see sight in Nepal, and is located roughly 13km from the center of Kathmandu.

Purchase a 50-rupee bus ticket from the Ratna Park bus stop or Bhaktapur close to Thamel, and expect the trip to take around an hour.

Alternatively, pay around 1,500 Rupees for a taxi to go one-way, but don’t forget to bargain.

Patan

In Patan, you’ll see architecture and handicrafts similar to those in Bhaktapur, however it’s much closer to Thamel and is more or less located inside Kathmandu, on the south side of the Bagmati River.

Taking a taxi should cost less than 500-600 rupees.

Mountain biking around Kathmandu

Renting a mountain bike in Kathmandu is relatively easy, with many shops in Thamel offering guided trips or bikes for rent.

Himalayan Single Track, for example, rents bikes and is the best source of information regarding routes.

Generally, the Eastern side of Kathmandu Valley provides some of the most attractive routes. These can be explored from Panauti, or Dhulikel, Nagarkot, as well as Shivapuri National Park to the north, and Last Resort to the south.

Hiking Shivapuri National Park

Just outside of Kathmandu is a 3000m peak with stunning views of Kathmandu Valley. The hike is quite steep and goes along cut stone steps almost the entire way.

Getting to Shivapuri requires either a 1h mountain bike ride or a 1,000 Rupee taxi. The views and trails are worth it! Leave early, it is a full day of adventure.

Rock climbing around Hattiban

Head down to Astrek Climbing Wall to ask about rock climbing day trips from Kathmandu.

The closest rock climbing area to the city is Hattiban, which is located very close to the beautiful Neydo Buddhist monastery, inhabited mostly by young children.

Yoga or meditation at Last Resort, Hattiban Resort, Neydo Monastery

The forests surrounding Hattiban is in ideal place for walking, mountain biking, or doing meditation retreat at the stunning Neydo Monastery.

Trekking in Langtang National Park

It’s possible to do a short 6 day trek to Langtang National Park from Kathmandu.

The bus leaves from New Bus Park to Syabrubesi. It’s best to use a travel agent to arrange the tickets the day before (at a fee). Be sure to bring your passport and arrange a TIMS trekking permit in advance.

The bus ride will take most of the first day, however, it’s also possible to trek from Syabrubesi to Kyanjin Gompa, with stunning views of Shishanpagnma and the Langtang Himalayas throughout.

Thankfully, it's surprisingly easy to avoid hordes of package tourists.

Spend longer than a week in Jordan, and you'll be able to go beyond Indiana Jones and Petra, and find yourself on the trail of kings, crusaders and lost civilizations.

Live like a local in Amman

Visit Jerash

Eat like a local

Take the Road of Kings

Dana Nature Reserve

Treks and adventure in Wadi Rum

Beat the Petra crowds

Dead Sea trekking

1. Live like a local in Amman

Amman is often not given the attention it deserves. The motto of most tourists seems to be “get in and get out”. But, if you spend some time climbing the seven hills of the sun-soaked city that was once Ancient Philadelphia, you'll find a surprisingly cosmopolitan (and surprisingly clean!) capital.

Be sure to visit the Temple of Hercules during the call to prayer at sundown, for a mesmerizing ambiance of reverberating chants.

Shop for spices or hip, inexpensive clothing in the chaotic markets of Amman's old quarter – where gold shops vie for space with traditional tea houses. Have a suit tailored, find traditional handicrafts and art, or buy imitation perfumes.

City lights of Amman. Photo credit: Jase Wilson

2. Visit Jerash

The ancient city of Jerash can be visited in a day from Amman – any taxi driver will be able to take you. Most tourists don’t have time, and head straight to Petra. Which is a shame, as Jerash is stunning in its own right.

Surrounded by valleys filled with plum trees, fig trees, and wheat crops, this was once a wealthy ancient Roman city – thanks to the fertile land and fresh water supply. Unfortunately, after an earthquake hit Jerash in 749AD, areas of the city were destroyed, leaving the ruins buried for centuries. Now, after years of excavation, it's become a great place to learn about ancient life in Jordan.

If you do choose to go, check out Hadrian's Arch, the Hippodome, the Nymphaeum, and the Jerash Archaeological Museum.

3. Eat like a local

You should try the chicken or falafel sandwiches (which cost around US $1), the powerful Turkish-style coffee, or sweet masala tea. Delicious chicken or lamb with rice, made with a creamy yogurt to pour over top (Mansaf), is very common and can be easily be found for less than US $10.

Eating out in Jordan, especially Amman, can be pricey. But, follow the locals to cramped and crowded eateries where, chances are, you'll be the only foreign face in the place. In Jordan, going cheap doesn't have to mean sacrificing taste.

4. Take the long way on the Road of Kings

When most travelers leave Amman, it’s to travel the Desert Highway – a simple road that draws a line straight down the country from the north to the Red Sea in the south. Public transport plies this route, and it’s the fastest way to travel between Jordan’s capital to the hidden Nabatean city of Petra and the epic Lawrence of Arabia desert at Wadi Rum.

But, if you choose to take the road less traveled, you'll find yourself on the King's Highway, a key trade route for over 3,000 years, where public transportation doesn’t dare tackle the road. A series of switchback turns traverse two spectacular canyons, Wadi Mujib in the north, and Wadi Hasa in the south. At one point, there's 11mi (18km) of tarmac to cover an actual distance of 2.5mi (4km).

You can charter a taxi to tackle the highway. It takes all day to travel between Amman and Petra, but there are plenty of sights along the way, including ruins, a nature reserve, and viewpoints above both canyons.

5. Dana Nature Reserve

Along the Great Rift Valley is the Dana Nature Reserve, an ecologically diverse sanctuary, home to hundreds of species of plants and animals. It makes a great overnight stop to explore the traditional village of Dana, or to hike into Petra.

6. Treks and adventure in Wadi Rum

With its magnificent landscapes, you'll be surprised to hear that Wadi Rum receives only a fraction of the visitors compared to Petra. Hire a Bedouin guide and his Landcruiser, spend a night at a Bedouin camp to learn about your guide and his family, and marvel at the stars after dark.

For the truly adventurous, it would be easy to spend months in Rum – there are countless itineraries for trekking, climbing, and canyoning. You can explore the desert towers, camp under the stars, or take the "old highway" to Aquaba, a remote desert track which can be explored by camel back or 4x4.

Visit Wadi Rum at the height of summer, and chances are you'll have almost 115mi2 (300km2) of desert completely to yourself. Yes, it's brutally hot, but your guide will know exactly where to find shade for a tea break at any time of day.

7. Beat the Petra crowds

Petra, the city that once was lost, has now very much been found. It isn't exactly off Jordan's beaten track. In fact, the pathway through the Siq (a narrow gorge that literally weaves it way between cliffs of rose-coloured rock and was used by the Nabateans 2,000 years ago to hide their city), is these days very much well-trodden.

But, there is more than one way to explore Petra. Visit at night via romantic candle lit pathways (for which you will pay extra) or visit at dawn, and see the first light begin to hit the famous Treasury, an ornate tomb 140ft (43m) tall, and carved from sheer rock. Best of all? You'll have it almost completely to yourself.

8. Dead Sea Trekking

There are a number of options to trek near the Dead Sea up lush, stunning canyons to hot springs and swimming pools. Desert Eco Tours provides a major source of inspiration here.
